58 and CO invite you to our SPRING CO-MMUNAL – a night of feasting and cocktails, co-hosted with Sager + Wilde Head Chef, Diarmuid Goodwin.

Hosted at 58 and CO’s ethical distillery in Haggerston, this family-style feasting dinner will feature a 3 course sharing dinner prepared by Diarmuid Goodwin, celebrating British seasonal produce with a Mediterranean influence. Each course will be paired with a cocktail, designed by cocktail and spirits expert Carmen O’Neal, and the 58 and CO team.

Diarmuid has been cooking for almost a decade in some of London’s best-known and most loved restaurants. Originally hailing from Belfast, he started cooking at the age of 15, eventually finding his way to London and into Angela Hartnett’s kitchens. He worked for Angela for seven years; first at Cafe Murano, then onto Michelin-starred Murano, followed by a stint at Bruno Loubet’s Grain Store and then returning as Sous Chef at Cafe Murano St James and Covent Garden. Now Head Chef at Sager + Wilde, 2023 sees him named on the Murphia List which celebrates top Irish figures in London’s food-and-drink scene. Diarmuid draws on the culinary traditions of Italy, the Basque Country, Provence and around the Middle East, as showcased in the 58 and CO SPRING CO-MMUNAL feasting menu.

THE MENU:

On arrival: 58 and CO Signature G&T

To start: A selection of sharing plates – Home-made focaccia / Stracciatella, loquats, salsa macha basil / Chopped veal, smoked anchovy caesar dressing, caperberries, baby gem / Dry aged chalk stream trout, sheep milk labneh, radicchio kimchi / Crushed pea, raw courgette, mint and salted ricotta
Main: Braised lamb, smoked aubergine puree, zhoug
Dessert: Torta caprese, Kahlua and tonka bean cream 

To drink: Cocktail pairing for each course, wine by LAYLO
