This Olive Oil Vodka is made using rescued extra virgin olive oil from the 2021 harvest of Citizens of Soil’s single estate Portuguese oil.

To the rescue
Some Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Citizens of Soil's 2021 Portuguese harvest had damaged packaging and couldn't be sold.
Experimentation
The team went through multiple rounds of experimentation to find the perfect way to bring the olive oil to life.
Distillation
To preserve the olive oil’s subtle aromatics and flavour, it was allowed to macerate in our award-winning vodka for one month then vacuum distilled.
Zero waste
Post-distillation, the olive oil was extracted and bottled to be used as a garnish for your Olive Oil Dirty Martini.
Citizens of Soil
Carmen and Citizens of Soil founder, Sarah Vachon, connected through a shared network of female founders championing sustainability.
As well as their incredible products, Carmen fell in love with the whole brand ethos. Their award-winning extra virgin olive oils elevate both the farmer and the table, coming directly from female producers who practise regenerative farming.
