58 Recipes

We started our story as 58 Gin back in 2016 - it took 58 recipes find our perfect London Dry Gin.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, we were the first UK company to pivot production to Hand Sanitiser, supply the NHS, Met Police, women’s shelters and more.

As the world recovered, we emerged as ‘58 and CO’ - an elevated ethical spirits brand.

MEET CARMEN O'NEAL

The 'CO'

Carmen built the Haggerston distillery as a 'maternity project' - turning it from a dark shell into a stunning, homely events space and working production site. Her approach and ethos is embedded into every fibre - she is the ‘CO’ in 58 and CO.

As well as being the CEO and founder of a distillery, Carmen is a cocktail & spirits expert and TV personality, regularly shaking things up on BBC Saturday Kitchen.

SUSTAINABILITY

Proudly B Corp

It takes more than planting a tree to make a change.

Sustainability is about so much more than just planting trees - it’s a way of life that needs to be embedded into every aspect of the business in an authentic way. That’s why we practice ethically, not just ecologically.

It takes more than recycling to be a B Corp - it means that we meet the highest standards of social and environmental impact. The first female-founded alcohol brand in the UK to join, we have been proud members since 2021.

Ethical practise is at the heart of everything we do – from the recycled glass in our bottles and labels made from discarded grape skins, to the solar panels powering the stills and plastic waste that gets made into coasters.
