Making Olive Oil Vodka
Because Citizens' oils have such distinctive flavours, we produce each batch separately to preserve and celebrate the original oil's character.
rescuing 'homeless' oil
Our production depends on the supply of excess olive oil from Citizens of Soil - what oil, if any, they can spare that can't be used or sold for whatever reason.
MACERATING WITH VODKA
The extra virgin olive oil is carefully decanted and macerated in our Triple Distilled British Vodka for a minimum of 3 months.
VACUUM DISTILLED
To preserve the olive oil’s subtle aromatics and flavour it's cold vacuum distilled in small batches.
HAND BOTTLED
Once we have our final yield, each bottle is filled and labelled by hand.
